General Introduction

“Nutritech Potassium Silicate 1810” is based of the raw material “potassium silicate”, as a result of which it provides potassium and silicon at the same time to the plants. Simultaneous supply of the two elements leads to the strength of plants & tissues and increases plants resistance to the environmental stress. Also, it leads to better growth and development of plant organs due to seaweed and free amino acids contents.

Silicate is one of the most useful materials for plants, which increases the thickness, firmness and plant leaf strength. The combination of silicate and potassium has an effective role in improving the quality and firmness of fruit texture as well as increasing the shelf life of the products. Potassium silicate reduces the sunburn effects when the temperature and radiation are high in summer. Application of potassium silicate, at the right time, helps reduce blankness in pistachio, it also strengthens the cell walls; So, the damage of some pests such as psylla is lowered.

Specific Considerations

  • Do not mix with alkaline, highly acidic and sulfur derivatives.
  • Should it be mixed with any other materials, jar test and small- scale application are highly recommended.
  • The dosage and recommendations above are general. In order to be exact and most effective, soil and tissue analysis should be considered and also consultation of local experienced agronomists is highly recommended.
  • The liability of the producer is limited to the guaranteed content and physical characteristics as claimed; the producer shall not be liable for anything out of its control.
  • This product is NOT miscible with alkaline solutions, sulfur products highly acidic and pesticides and shall not be mixed with the mentioned products.
  • The product shall be kept in 5-30 degrees centigrade and also NOT under the direct sunlight and away from flammable materials.
  • Foliar application shall be applied in the coolest time of the day during the day time (early morning or near sunset).
  • The product should be directly applied as foliar mixture, so undiluted use of it is prohibited.
  • Use acceptable quality of water for foliar application.
